Data drives organizations to make better decisions to create meaningful impact.  Social enterprises are not an exception — though they often face larger hurdles than governmental or private organizations in sourcing, accessing, and deploying data for decision-making.

Join us to for an evening at FiscalNote to discuss the use of data to inform product design and decision-making.  The event will open with a conversation with the finalists of Startup Weekend DC, who will discuss how they used data to create award-winning product plans.  The second half of the event will offer an introduction to Acumen’s course on data, Lean Data Approaches to Measure Social Impact, facilitated by DC+Acumen chapter leaders.

All event proceeds go to Acumen.  Acumen is a non-profit global venture fund with a vision to help build a world beyond poverty through investing in companies that deliver critical goods and services in areas such as health, energy, agriculture, and education; leaders who are paving the way for new approaches to fighting poverty; and the spread of ideas that will give the world the knowledge and the understanding to change how the world tackles poverty.
